Dennis Duigan picks and hollers heartfelt songs of broken love, hardship and sorrow. His stories are cast upon a foundation of open-back banjo, resonator and acoustic guitars, and delivered with a vocal wandering comfortably between high lonesome and soulful blues. Drawing influence from contemporary and historical American roots music movements, Dennis has composed a body of material that both reflects the timeless struggle of the human experience and gives a healthy musical nod to folk and blues music traditions. Live performances gravitate between upbeat toe tappers, driving resonator blues and stripped back pensive numbers, frequently including a selection of mountain folk songs and Americana standards.
